Welcome to my re-launched website. Still very simple – heh, mainly pictures of the girls (ie, my dogs), Zoe and Melody.

I have a few pictures of me – one from about 10 years ago, one with Ballad (who is now living with my ex) that is about five years old, and one of me in Yosemite four years ago. Nothing more recent – heh, partly cause I haven’t bothered, partly cause I’m vain and wanna lose 10 pounds first ;-)

About me – living in Sacramento with my partner Dan and our girls, work in politics doing both computer support, meeting planning, and answering tons of questions all day long. I’m a Disney fanatic – I live 400 miles from Disneyland but have had an annual pass for 10 years now.

I also love showtunes (ya, I know, stereotypical…), science fiction, online games (like EQ2 and Star Wars Galaxies), walks on the beach (ok, not really – just seemed to start sounding sappy here)…

Oh, and I also love using parantheses.

BTW - here is a newer picture of me, taken March 2005 at Disneyland.

New pictures - I was able to take a vacation and go to Disneyland for its 50th Birthday. The trip was from Wed, July 13 through Mon, July 18. On the actual 50th (Sunday, July 17) - they actually started the line at 2AM, using Disney's California Adventure park as a queue area. As you entered DCA, you got your ticket/pass scanned, got a free set of golden Mouse Ears with "July 17, 2005" embroidered on it and a wristband. I got there around 4:15AM and was in end part of the fourth group. Each group was 1000 people and we had different colored wristbands - starting with orange then pink, blue and our group of yellow. A friend got there about 10 minutes later and was in the next group, green. At 7AM, they started letting the first group out and across to Disneyland. The rest of the plaza between the parks was packed with people waiting for us early line people to go across (about 8000 of us from the news reports). I entered Disneyland about 7:20 and rushed to get into a line for date- specific merchandise. As we walked down Main Street entering the Park, the sidewalks were lined with Cast Members (Disneyland employees) all waving and welcoming us - saying "Happy Birthday" and generally starting the day off to a great start. The sales area was in the Festival Arena and when I got into line, the line end was at the exit to Splash Mountain. It took 3 1/2 hours to get from there to the Festival Arena, then ANOTHER 2 hours before I finally was able to pay for my stuff and exit. After getting some lunch, we took off for our hotel to nap until 5:30, got up and had dinner then back into the Park for the fireworks show (fantastic show). Stayed in the park, riding rides and watching Fantasmic (11:30PM show) and left just as the Park finally closed at midnight. As a perfect end to the day, as we were leaving, there were some Cast Members up on at train area above the exit tunnels, again, waving to us and thanking us for coming.

That’s all for now – I’ll update this soon (um, maybe – my track record with my website updates has ~not~ been good).
